Fall Trend Report: Cue The Color

This season the runway embraced ’80s opulence in the form of bold color, strong silhouettes, and dramatic combinations. We’ve taken some cues from the runway and infused our latest fall capsule release with luxe fabrics, statement colors and refined details.

A Punch Of Pink

Fuchsia…a fresh, unique, unexpected vibrant shade of pink that takes your color game to the next level. We are loving this statement color for its bold beauty and ability to go from desk to dusk with confidence.
Pro tip: Pair fuchsia with denim by day and jet black by night for an ultra-feminine look that packs a punch.

Out Of The Blue

Aquarius…wake up your wardrobe with the brilliance of electric blue. We’re obsessed with the dynamic energy of aquarius because it looks fabulous on all skin tones and plays well with the colors you already have in your closet.
Pro tip: This color can be worn year round so it’s a great opportunity to splurge on a statement piece that you’ll wear season after season.

It’s All In Black And White

Black & White…these endlessly sophisticated classic colors are tried and true neutrals that mix and match effortlessly.  Pop them with bold tones or shades of grey…no matter what you choose, you can’t go wrong.
Pro tip: Take advantage of their versatility and experiment with texture and pattern, even pairing prints with stripes!

Three Colors to Wear This Fall

A desire for tranquility, strength and optimism have inspired the color palette for our Pre-Fall 2018 capsule. We’ve taken the edge off by creating hues that work with most skin tones and look fantastic back to black.  The result is a collection of easy-to-wear pops of color that are not only re-energizing but have longevity.

A Dash of Saffron

Fabulously sophisticated when paired with confident neutrals like deep black, paper white or rich sable; Saffron is a spicy yellow with an exotic touch. Create a signature style or look by combining Saffron with unexpected colors. Experiment and have fun.

A Pop of Pimento

Like the change in the color of autumn leaves, orange often represents the shift in seasons. This unexpected shade transforms the seasonal color story with a vibrant splash sure to wake up your wardrobe. A key statement color like Pimento helps round out a wardrobe that is both functional and on-point.

Caper is the New Black

Stylish Start to Fall

As leaves are turning, days are becoming shorter, and evenings are cooling down. We have begun the wonderful season of Fall, and we look towards warm colors, autumnal activities, and yes, Fall style!

Our first look is the Take Note Vest in acacia over the At Ease Top in dove and the Clear Cut skirt in mink. This vest is stunning on most body types because of the multiple ways to button it. We love versatility here at Stella, and this boiled wool is an eye-catching example. The rayon stretch jersey top hits at the hip and the neckline has asymmetry that complements most figures. Finally, the ponte knit skirt — you gotta love that it keeps everything together, if you know what I mean!  This skirt has an easy pencil-esque shape and looks great with boots.

Got this next look from the lovely Yarra! The Must Have It Sweater in ash over the Gotta Getaway Tunic in tearose is an unexpected coupling. The crinkle texture of the tunic gives a nice surprise as it peeks from under the uneven hem of the sweater.  This look can work with boots as well as sandals, and looks great for the pear-shaped figure.

Our very popular A-list Top in creamy white helps to create a nice silhouette with the Bottom Line Ankle Pants in shiraz.  It’s simple elegance for this put-on-and-go look. The soft drape of the top lays well with the cascades of the pant.  This outfit is great for those looking to distract from the tummy, and either elongate a fuller leg or give more dimension to those with thinner legs.

Lastly, there is the Enigmatic Tunic in dove over the Incomparable Ankle Pant in dakota.  This tunic hits below the bottom at its shortest point and drapes in all the right places.  The Incomparable Ankle Pants is a best seller for the simple fact that the style is out of the ordinary, but easy to wear. Another great outfit for most body types, and the color combo is the epitome of fall.
