Romancing Fall

I’ve spent most of my career in corporate where language usage is direct and simple. Not simple like stupid, simple like globally understandable. For example, if I were to describe our signature tee, the Sure Thing Tee, I would talk about it in the following manner: “A long, comfortable t-shirt with long sleeves and a rounded collar with room for the hips.”

Now at Stella, I feel compelled to use more romantic language, simply because I’m inspired by the way our customers experience our clothing. Our Stella women are sensual beings who take the world in through all senses. So, I’ll try to do the same when describing our newest items in the first Fall delivery below. Ok, here goes…

The first thing that tickles my fancy are our mesh combination tops. The print reminds me of a sun-dappled picnic under the redwood shade after a late summer hike. Vibrant colors of spicy coriander, tuscan rose, jade and a rich forest hue delight. I am particularly drawn to the mixture of fabrics and textures — mesh overlays with jersey, asymmetrical interest, collars and cuffs knitted to shape. One really appreciates the artistry.

Our comfy jersey items are pure Stella essentials. With masterful draping in just the right places, these pieces accentuate the positives of every woman’s curves. We’ve elaborated on our signature house favorites, the Sure Thing Tee and Incomparable Pants, to more silhouettes that suit your shape and style. In tuscan rose, ivory, shadow and dakota, these are work week and weekend favorites that last (and don’t pill!)

Rayon voile, light and airy, breezy and blousy. Available in dakota brown, these are scene-stealing tops or over-top tops with a flirty sheer, oh my!

Ah, for the sweater lovers: short shrugs, long sweaters, cardigans with peek-a-boos; sweaters that cover the shoulders and the derriere with an asymmetrical flair. These lightweight knits are perfect cover ups to warm up cool days and long nights.

And there is leather, too! Simply cropped, this little number is slightly distressed and full of statement. In cool jade, this jacket perks up the layered look with contrast that keeps on rocking.

So, what do you think? My husband says I’m not the most romantic being on the planet, so do let me know if I’ve failed to get you going! Better yet, head into your local boutique to get intimate with the pieces. After all, there’s nothing better than a touch and a feel 🙂

And while you are at it, be sure to check out the hottest SALE of the summer this Labor Day Weekend online and in the Stella Studio!

Happy shopping!!
